Trent releases two tracks as singles over the internet, and then releases the entire album for free. No radiohead gimmick, Just for free and a disc available to buy in July. Trent has a lot of faith in his fan base.

New Death Cab For Cutie
Listen to the song streamed on line out. I really like the direction this is going and if the whole album has this new sound, then Death Cab is going to be releasing an awesome album.

Welcome to the New Media
The newest episode of the Simpsons was really funny. It's the most screen time Ralph Wiggum's got in years.
The return of the Daily Show and Colbert Report was last night as well. The Colbert Report managed to be really funny, but the Daily Show obviously suffered from the lack of writers.

Observations
- The new issue of the Seattle Weekly came out today. Every employee that walked up to the front desk (where I am working) who picked up an issue and read the cover text out loud has misread it. They then correct themselves.

Squarepusher's new album Hello Everything might be the best album of the year. Or, Tom Jenkinson is still slightly too insane to make popular music, but goddamn, this disc is good. -
The Starlight Mints
The Starlight Mints have a new album coming out this tuesday. Ah, I must have it. Their other two albums are wonderfully bizarre, as well as being fun and bouncing. Plus, they are coming to Seattle soon! From their myspace page, they will be in town on May 12th at Nuemos. Sounds like something to do that night! -
